Stinchcombe Hill House is a grand Edwardian manor house, dramatically situated on a spur of the Southwest Cotswolds, commanding breathtaking views across the Severn Estuary to Wales. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it enjoys a peaceful and secluded position atop a Cotswold escarpment. The Main House was designed by Morley Horder in 1907. It was built for Sir Charles Percy Lister and his family, owners of R.A.Listers, famous for their production of agricultural machinery and engines. Listers was the main employer in the historic Cotswold market town of Dursley for over a century. The 8 bedroom Main House has undergone complete renovation between 2018 and 2022, with the addition of a spectacular 5 bedroom green oak building, called the New Stables. The two properties combined, therefore offer accommodation for up to 30 guests. Overlooking Stinchcombe Hill Golf Course ‘One of the most scenic golf courses in Europe.’ makes Stinchcombe Hill House an attractive leisure venue for golfers and with the Cotswold Way just outside the main gates, we provide a haven for walkers, cyclists or travellers wanting to explore this beautiful area.

Main House
Each of our eight guest bedrooms are uniquely designed with ensuites. The house also has a large kitchen, games room, dining room, party/cinema room and library.

New Stables
Newly built stables with 5 bedrooms, all en suite and all are self contained units with shared kitchen and living space. The Stables also include a jacuzzi bath and fire pit.

Golf on your doorstep
There is an on site gym and treatment room available for all guests to use. On request, we can provide a personal trainer to instruct and motivate you to use our equipment which includes; a rowing machine, exercise bike, running machine and free weights. Should relaxation be your preference, allow us to book you a massage or facial in the treatment room with one of our fully qualified clinicians.
